Sin‑energy productions of Utah is presenting a marathon DJ event May 7th at the Venue in Salt Lake City, Utah. “Evolution” will feature three DJ superstars and over a dozen local DJs.
Featured artists are Faust, Shortee, and Annalyze.
“Faust and Shortee have awed masses worldwide,” said event producer, Andrew Murdock. “They are ranked as one of the top turntablists in the world and are Playboy Magazine’s 50th anniversary DJs of the year. Faust released the first turntablist album in history, the critically lauded Man Or Myth.”
“Shortee is acknowledged as one of the most skilled female DJs in the world,” Murdock said.
Twice as Nice will join Annalyze and Shortee on stage for a total of six turntables.
Over twelve local artists are also on the bill, including three “Battles of the DJs.” DJ Insideus will go up against DJ Katupilar, Bart will face Stoncold, and Michael J will compete against Richie Rage.
Other local artists include; Presto, Dusty, Spectre, DJ Jeremy LaVay, G-Mann, Slinky, DJ KC-J, Saint 7, and Odix..
“We also have incredible sponsor giveaways, Ghetto Slider break dance performances, and fire dance jugglers,” added Murdock. “All of those acts will be spotlighted by massive laser and visual screens interactive effects, joined up with 30,000 watts off sound.”
Tickets are $ 15 in advance or $ 20 at the door, and available only at Mechanized, 200 South 511 West in Salt Lake City, UT.
